That's an NHS link to a form called EHIC. We all need one if we need to get medical treatment in the EU.
You also need to tell your insurance company that you will be driving in the EU as well. They need the dates that you will be there. Please dont forget to do this.
To travel legally in France and Belgium we all need to carry the following :
- Spare bulb kit
- GB sticker or GB no. plate
- High Viz Jacket
- Headlamp converter
- Warning triangle
A first aid kit and fire extinguisher are both recommended for both countries. Also can you bring a clutch and accelerator cable suitable for your car, they are not that expensive and it will save a lot of hassle if we all bring a spare one for our own cars. If you have any other spares floating around at home by all means bring them as well.
As far as food and drink are concernded, we thought about getting to the show setting up, and then a couple of buses doing a hypermarket run. I have already been told I am not allowed to go as it needs to be a sensible run, which I suppose puts Rob out the equation as well  We can not see the point of travelling all that way carrying extra weight when there is a hypermarket close by.
Well that's that for EBI, please get the above stuff done and make sure the cars are in some sort of wroking order before we go. |
